Here are some language activities that you can do at home:
-Verbally label objects.
- Describe what you see as you see it. Tell why it is there, how it got there, how it is used and when it does.
- Ask Questions: Who, What, When, Where, Why and How.
-Categorize items by cutting magazine pictures out and pasting them in groups together (animals, transportation, clothing, toys, etc...)
-Read a story to the child and ask frequent questions throughout the story.
